**Career Highlights*
* At the 1995 NHL Entry Draft, Iginla was
drafted 11th over all by the Dallas Stars. A few months after drafting him, the
Stars dealt him the the Calgary Flames for Joe Nieuwendyk
(<---Joe).
The forward started Oct. 5, 1996, and and scored a goal in his first NHL game.
He played all 82 games in his rookie campaign, finishing with 29 assists and 21
goals. Between 1998-99 and 2001-2002, Iginla got way more points, going from 51
to 96. He won the Art Ross Trophy, Maurice Rocket Richard Trophy and Lester B.
Pearson Award in 2001-02, scoring 52 goals, giving out 44 assists and
registering a plus-27 rating while playing all 82 contests.
