| St. John's Maple Leafs vs. Bridgeport Sound Tigers |
| May 1st/2002 Matt and I went out to the potential last game of the season for the Leafs, if they lost they would be eliminated. We went and watched the game and the Leafs got whipped! 7-2. they played pretty bad. and the tigers played excellent. We went to gate 5 where they come out and we waited for about 20mins before ANYONE came out. some guy cmae and and we didn't know who it was so we just waited some more. We asked one of the workers there and they said that they all left already out the back entrance. Of course we didn't beleive them because all you could hear was music blasting in the locker room. so we just said they must be partying for a bit since they just won the series. we waited a bit longer, and a group of three people came out. I saw Raymond Giroux and he signed 1 for me. they were pretty cool and we asked them if Kolnik and Krog came out yet and they said no not yet (obviously the staff like to lie). so we waited a few more minutes and Rick Dipietro came out witha another guy. I got dipietro on 1 card (totallu forgetting I had 2 cards of him) and Matt got 2 cards signed. the other guy was nice and so was Dipietro. BUT the other guy was Steven Valiquette (I didn't know that at the time) and I needed him for my set. so I totally got pissed off about my stupidity. well we waitied for a little longer and 2 guys came out and I got 1 from Jarij Kolnik , whicj was for my set. so now I am am 1/3 on the cards I wanted for my set. THEN a huge crowd came out about 10 of them and I saw Krog in the back so I went over and got 2 from him. and Branislav Mezei was in there somewhere but I didn't see him. and then after that we went home.
