Well tonight was a little weird, after getting only three autos the night before after the game I was dissapointed so I didn't even write the hounding story for that game since there wasn't much to say..lol...fortunatly I was talking to a fellow collector on MSN and I found out he had some tickets he was going to use, so I was glad enough to take them off his hands (Thanks Jason!). So Matt and I picked the tickets up on the way to the game, Paul forward (who I hounded with the night before) had all my stuff so I had to get my stuff off him after the game. After watching a laughable game where the leafs lost 5-1...we went to the regular spot and all I had was my St. johns maple Leafs crads, so I went down to get a few of them since Paul wasn't there yet. As soon as I got there, I got Ryan Bonni on one card, and I saw a few other guys that I had nothing for go by. But then I got too cold and went up with Matt and Paul (who arrived shortly after) and started with them to get Binghamton, I was surprised to see that Paul got a few of my stuff signed already. He had a few guys on my sheet and 3 Radim Bicanek cards done for me. So not long after I got there more players came up and I got them on my sheet and then a half decent sized group of about 7-8 came up and Joe Murphy started saying stuff like "Antoine Vermette right here, and Chris kelly 2 time CHL all-starover here" joking around.
So it was cool too see that they wern't uptight or anything. By the way the reason why we only got 3 autos the night before was because thats all that came out from that exit!..lol..anyway I managed to get Kelly on 1 card, Vermette on 1 card, Pothier on 1 cardand Chris kelly on another card. Then the night before I got Dean Melanson to sign a card I had for him. So that was pretty much all we got, Matt got 18 players on his sheet at the end and he didn't expect to go to the game so he didn't have any cards for them. I got Andy Hedlund, Chris Bala, Steve Bancrfot, Chris Schubert, Josh Langfeld, Chris kelly, Dean melanson, Brian Pothier, Antoinne Vermette, Jeff Ulmer, Brian McGrattan, Joe Murphy, Radim Bicanek, and a mystery #30. hes not on the site or anything so I dont know who it is. So overall it was great since I disn't expect to go at all....thanks again Jason for the Tickets. |
