Book Orders
As you come into our room you will see that I love books! In addition to the hundreds of books in the classroom I have more at home. Most of these books have come from book orders. Scholastic, Trumpet and others offer books at very reasonable prices. The book clubs also offer a good selection of books for beginning readers. If you ever want to preview a book just ask me because there's a good chance that I have the book you may want to order. Every month I send home several orders. The orders will be stapled together with the date due written at the top. You are welcome to order from any of them or none at all. When you place an order I earn bonus points which allows me to order books for the class for free. When ordering please make out separate checks for each book order. No cash will be accepted. Please put book orders in an envelope marked with your child's name and book order written on the front. You can place all orders in one envelope. Please do not include any other notes in this envelope because I don't open them until I do the book orders. If you want to order a book and keep it as a surprise for a birthday or holiday just enclose a note with the order. When the order arrives I'll give you a call and then you can pick the order up at your convenience. Happy Reading!
