These photos were taken by Lil Lamb (Thanks Kahlene!) and my mom at the Louisville show. Please ask before you take these photos and credit it me on your page AFTER you get permission. If you don't get permission and I find out, I'll come whack you with the 2 x 4 of Knowledge of Legal Crap and make you credit me on your page. |
Wow! This was a good show, even if my mom came with me (my mom was damn impressed with their live show, and she's been a fan of sorts since Carmen). I again had seats less than two feet from the stage. I love sitting that close for the sole reason of being able to watch the guys' faces when they sing, or percuss. Bear has blond hair now. A bit weird to see, but it looks good. According to Kahlene, he dyed it last April and everyone told him how good it looked, so he did it again. I think the obvious vibe (the four standing O's had a lot to do with it too) the guys got from the audience was evident when Scott commented on how they needed to come back to Louisville more often. I concur. :) I do want to say how impressed I am with them for the way they take the time to do a meet and greet after every show (travel conflicts after the shows sometimes don't allow them to do so, but that's rare). They were willing to pose for pics with EVERYONE who asked. It's not often you see a group willing to do that, but it's obvious they understand the impact such things have on their fans. Trust me we appreciate it guys! I think the most amusing part of getting my cds signed was when I asked Bear to sign my prize from the fill in the blank contest. He looked at the cd, then at me, and then read the cd and realized that I hadn't asked him to sign a bootleg. Jeff was being nosey and tried to figure out what the hell I had stumped Bear with. I ended up explaining about the contest on the web site with Bear's help, and Jeff seemed rather amused by it. I was kind of surprised that Bear hadn't told the other guys about the contest since I'm sure they would find the winners' entries pretty damned funny. Maybe they'll read them now that Jeff knows about it. |

Ok, I know what you're thinking. She's wearing ho red lipstick. Well, I'm not. I was wearing plain ole Chapstick (like El wanted...don't ask...you had to be there). Apparently, I was really red-faced, more so than Jeff. Either that or the color balance at the 1-hour developer was on crack. I don't know. Random weird thought: My mom looked at this picture and thought Jeff and I made a cute couple. I'd like to think so, but that's just REALLY bizarre coming from my mom. |

This picture was taken for me by Kahlene. I think we forgot to tell El what what going on. :) Scott and I have this tilting thing going on (I don't know why, so don't ask). Jeff's just cheesin' away. BTW, I really like the outfit Kevin (far left) had on. It had coordinating leather/pleather (not sure which) pants. It was damn cool. Another random thought for ya: Scott is quite possibly the skinniest person I've ever met. I think my thigh is the same size as his waist, and I'm not kidding. |
