Baker Trail
The Baker Trail is 141 miles of hiking through some of the most interesting and scenic views I have seen in Western PA.It follows trails, jeep trails, dirt roads and other surfaces. Parts are  hard to follow like the strip mine I ran into a few years ago two days out from Freeport and the people that work there are jerks. Thanks for the no water!
Anyways I have recently contacted the keepers of the trail and hope to have a guide book soon to plan some day hikes and actually adopt part of the trail to give me something to do. I hope to get a section of trail close to Crooked Creek Lake, how cool!
I hope to add a part of Baker Trail here along Crooked Creek for more to enjoy and maybe get involved. But for the best info you can get you might want to try
here.
Camping
Hiking
Mountain Biking
Spelunking
Rock Climbing
Coming soon, like this spring, The Baker Trail through Crooked Creek. This is a nice section of trail simply because Crooked Creek is awesome. There is a ton of fishing some swimming and a little hiking in this area. Like I said I hope to add a detailed guide to this section of the Baker Trail for the main guide visit the link above. You may also want to contact the Army Corp of Engineers that keeps the Lake in such fine shape.

Here is a group of Boyscouts and myself on the trail near the Keystone Power Plant doing a little work. The Scouts helped me plant that sign, clear downed trees, and a little weeding.
