Two Mile County Park
Directions
Camping
You can take Route 8 north to Franklin and jump across the river to Route 417 north for about six miles and look for the park to be on your right. There is a park office and you can stop to get maps of the area. This is a good idea every time you bike a new area. Anyways keep going and Pioneer Flats will be on your right. This is a good place to park and get ready for the trails.

There are a ton of trails here and you should thank me for leading you to some great riding. There is a little of everything here for people of all skill level. If you did not pick up a map at the park office kick yourself. There are a few trails here that lead off of other trails and trails that lead to other trails. The trails seem to be well marked with signs and orange blazes but it still helps to have a map. I also like to goto topo zone and get topo maps to look at to see where the hills are. There is at least 20 miles of riding here so plan to stay around for a while. The trails lead through meadows and grassy multi track to steep single track climbs in the woods. There are also dirt and paved roads you will ride on. The park itself has restrooms, campground, picnic shelters, and even a observatory. Each of the trails is blazed in different colors, if you are not sure what the colors mean you need to find out. Some colors tell you that the trail is off limits to mountain biking and other colors will tell you horses use the trail and you better know how to bunny hop. The color coding is pretty much standard in PA for all the trails. Have fun and ride on!
