HUMMUS 2 cans garbanzo beans (Drain and keep the water on the side for adding as needed) I make my own garbanzos from dry...but cans are easier. Tahini (if you buy tahini..fine, but if you make it yourself ...toast your sesami seeds) garlic Olive oil lemon juice Make same way as the Baba Ganouj but no eggplant...just garbanzos. PESTO (The real kind) One bunch of cilantro (washed good) Pine nuts (or almonds if you can't find the expensive pines) Olive oil garlic lemon juice **blend in the ole mason buddy jar ... or pain in the ass blender. dip anything and everything in it. I put on my hummus raw veggie burritos morning toast pita anytime food. To die for. |
