comprehensive testing scheme
used for product development, engineering validation before release, and hardware testing during initial production.
- Use of SmartBits Gigabit Ethernet test platform including Ethernet protocol transparency, frame loss, throughput, and latency over a variety of frame types.
- Use of Singulus and Geminus products from IneoQuest including Ethernet frame jitter and frame transparency.
- Understanding of Video on Demand (VoD) architectures using Gigabit Ethernet (GbE). Helped develop and configure a live demonstration of VoD including a MediaHawk 3000 video server from Concurrent Computer Corporation, two Summit 5i GbE switches from Extreme Networks, and a Virtuoso edge device from Teleste. This live demonstration was displayed at the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo in March 2003.

and QAM for transmission of digital video. Built mock Video Server to deliver multiplexed digital video over DVB-ASI to QAM Modulators.
