Mexican Hognose- (Heterodon nasicus kennerlyi)

Length: Size 15-25 inches

Diet: Amphibians, lizards, lizard eggs, smaller snakes, rodents.

Range: Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Mexico

Not commonly bred in captivity and easy to care for. They will feed mainly on rodents.

Mexican Hognose have 2 to 6 Azygous scales right behind rostal.(Plains and Dusty have 9 or more)
