Bennett has been listed as over 7 feet tall since the 8th grade, when he was playing with Country Day's varsity team. Is coached by former Boston Celtic Rex Morgan and has already received attention fom the NBA. Rivals.com rates him as the #38 player in the class of 2006. AAU team: Miami Tropics. He has reportedly been offered scholarships by Arkansas, Florida and Florida State. Billy Donovan offered him in the summer of 2003 but Bennett declined at that time. Participated in the 2003 Holiday Hoops tournament in Fayetteville and Country Day has been invited to back to Arkansas for a 2004-05 event. |
