The year is 1940, and World War Two is on the rise. On the first day of term, Poland was invaded by Germany, setting off worry and opinions everywhere. Tension leaves no place untouched- it is in the walls, in the conversation, between every person whose life has been affected by the fighting. Students are forced to deal with the happenings in Europe and learn at the same time. Teachers are forced to keep order and have worries of their own.
