| Crystal ball gazing gets more precise as your inner eye gets stronger. If you have no inner eye then all you will see is swirling mist. But if you do have the inner eye then you will see beyond the mysterious swirling mist of the future. At your stage if you have devloped your to an average level you will be able to see shapes. These shapes will symbolize something. Is you see a birthday cake it may be your inner eye reminding you that it's someone's birthday soon, if you see your pet then it is probably dead. The future can be a troubling, cursed thing to know. If you have the developed inner eye of a divination techer then you will be able to see scenarioes in your crystal balls. The crystal ball goes back many years, it is one of the oldest branches of divination and one of the most common. |

| Astrology is one of the fine arts of divination. If you are in your fourth year then you shuold have some star charts and be learning about Astrology in you Divination lessons now. Astrology is a way of foretelling the future by consulting the stars. Muggles also have uses for the stars. Some Muggles claim that they have the "Sight" and they can foretell the future using star signs and planet positions. Muggle pirates also used to use the stars as maps at sea, using the North Star (the brightest star visible) as their guide.Like all areas of Divination understanding and interperatating the future by reading the movements of the universe is a gift granted to only those that are possesed with the gift of Sight. The positions of the stars and planets when you were born depend on what youir life is like. What you are like. For instance, one that is born under the influence of the planet Saturn will have dark hair, mean stature, targic loss in earlier life. The rays of Saturn will shine down on new borns in mid-winter. However, there are exceptions. Each person has a part of the universe that corrseponds to them and deciphering the movements of the stars and planets that move through their part will help them predict the future. For example if Pluto moves past your part of the universe you are likely to be disrupted by some interuption. Timetables, books, star charts, planetary charts and other calculating equipment must be used if you are to predict the future using this difficult but rewarding and worthwhile field of Divination. |
