Recent tragedies continue to plague the psyche of New York. It affects me deeply as well. My utmost sympathies go to the victims and families who suffer due to the 9/11 catastrophe.
Renaldo: Full Time New Yorker.
A full time student enrolled at the DeVry Institute of Technology, I am majoring in Computer Information Systems, or CIS, in which I am learning much about computers, computer networking, and computer programming - enough for a Bachelor's degree. Right now, I am a freshman and already my professor is asking me to help her with making PowerPoint presentations.
Before enrolling in college, I attended Thomas A. Edison High School, a vocational high school. Edison, as it is known familiarly, has many programs geared towards the career-minded. I took the Computer Science and Networking program. Included in this program are the Cisco Networking Academy and the C++ Programming Language. I also learned HTML authoring in an elective cyber English/Journalism class.
I am involved in extensive volunteer work for my congregation. I am also working on a business venture project with a few of my friends at DeVry. (So, get ready for a new product that will rock businesses and learning institutions alike!) I have had other good work experiences as well. For a while, I worked at 55 Water Street, Chase Manhattan Bank (now J.P. Morgan Chase). It was fun working in the downtown business district, amongst the most powerful businessmen around. I was also Editor in Chief of my school newspaper, which proved to be the most interesting of work experiences I had.
I love to dance, sing, read, write, jog, run, play around, eat out, cook in, debate, discuss, communicate, live life and love life. I created this web page - my home page - to share
these interests with the world, and hope the world would benefit from this insight.
