Scott Boyer is living in Spotsylvania with his wife, Lisa,
and
his 2 mutts. Scott met his wife (a preschool/kindergarten Montessorri
teacher in Fredericksburg) in college, and they just celebrated their
fourth
anniversary with a trip to St. Lucia
.
Scott works as a contractor in Crystal City, building web applications
for
the Department of Defense, and he looks forward to seeing everyone at
the
reunion.
I am living in Spotsylvania with my wonderful husband, Robby Cherry We just had our first baby - Christopher - 11 weeks ago! I work in Dahlgren for Anteon Corp. I swore I would not return to King George/Dahlgren...but almost 5 years ago I found myself right back there to work! After High School, I worked in Dahlgren and attended Rappahannock Community College where I got my Associates in Business Administration. After graduating there, I went off to James Madison University where I realized I would rather work (and play) than go to school. So, after a year of lots of play and a little work, I moved to Spotsylvania and worked for a government contractor (E-OIR) where I met Robby. We decided to build a house at the end of 1998 and then we were married in October of 2000. We have been together for about 7 years, and after a quite some time of enjoying our lives and lots of partying...we decided it was time to start a family and settle down. After having Christopher, I am finally getting some sleep again...and all is wonderful! I hope everyone is doing well and I really look forward to seeing lots of you Saturday at the cookout. If anyone would like to get in touch with me, you can e-mail me at vanessa@2cherrys.com
Joe and I got married in 1994 and soon after left for
England where we spent 2 years. It was a blast! Next
we were shipped over to Germany where we spent another
2 years and loved every bit of it! It gave us the
opportunity to travel all over Europe and drink as
much beer and wine as we possibly could, as it is the
world's best! Joe spent 4 months in Italy and I got
to visit a few times. We made some wonderful, life
long friends! Uncle Sam rose again and told us it was
time to move on, so in 1997 we were sent to Anchorage
Alaska, where we wanted to stay forever!! We built a
house, I had a wonderful job as Office Manager for a
Pain Management Center at a local hospital. We've
been blessed with 2 boys, Joe and Hunter were born in
1999 and 2000. Joe got lots of hunting and fishing
time in (it is the world's best!) If you've ever
wanted to spend time in Alaska, we highly recommend
it, we never wanted to leave! Well Uncle Sam drug us
out, kicking and screaming in 2001. So here we are in
Wichita, Kansas! Not first on our list of places to
live, but it could be worse!
Joe is a Technical
Sergeant (E-6) in the Air Force, he is in charge of
developing the new 911 center here at McConnell AFB
(his program will hopefully go Air Force wide in the
next few years). He has been in for 10 years now!
WOW! I unfortunately had to give up the job that I
loved in Alaska to come here, but that's ok, that's
the way it goes. Eventually I will go back to school
and get my degree, but for now I have the opportunity
to stay home with my boys and I've decided to take
advantage of that and I love every minute of it. Life
is full of surprises and blessings with them! I am
also a Cera Bella Consultant. So life has been busy
for us and very rewarding!
The years have flown buy
and we can't wait to see you all at the reunion. It
will be neat to see how we have all changed (I know I
have!!!) and to see who I actually remember and recognize!

I myself was civilly married last October to Christophe (a Frenchman). Over here, it's not enough to get married in a church, you have to first be married at the mayor's office...They're a lot more serious about the separation between church and state. I digress...We got married at the mayor's office early so I could get my immigration paperwork renewed (my status changed last year being that I received my diploma and am no longer a student). The date coincided with the annual Medieval Festival in the town we live in and since this civil ceremony was more or less a joke to us, we decided to rent costumes and laugh it up. To make a long story short, the real wedding is to be held this summer on July 19th here in France, this time with all the family and friends attending. Unfortunately, this will prevent me from making it back Stateside for the big reunion. It sucks, because every year since I left, I've been able to make it home in the summer and this will be the first year that I have to skip out on it. Nice timing, huh?
As for my life, I'm quite happy living over here. Considering the turn of events of the last couple of years in America, I appreciate more than ever the opportunity I have not to be a part of the mess back home. It was quite an adjustment in the beginning (things aren't at all like Mrs. Rose described in French class :), but thankfully that period is over and am now settled into my boring everyday life here with Christophe. I work at an international law firm called Debevoise & Plimpton as a bilingual legal assistant to an American partner dealing with corporate mergers and acquisitions. For the moment, I have put my studies on hold, as I needed to start making money to help pay the bills. Christophe just started back to night school working toward his engineering degree, and so the plan is to wait the necessary four years until he is finished. After that time, I hope to go back to the Sorbonne and continue my studies towards a formal translation degree. We'll see in four years if that holds true, and I don't have any little rugrats biting my ankles by then...

I got married 6 years ago and we have an almost 3 year old daughter named Cheyenne. My husband is in the navy and so we have lived in Hawaii, Georgia and Washington and we have orders to move back to Georgia later this year. My family still lives in King George so I've been back to visit quite often. Not as often since we live on the other side of the world - or so it feels at times. I worked and went to college studying Administration of Justice until Cheyenne was born and now I just stay home and work for her - It is a tough job! I hope to make it to KG for the reunion. Since this update, Susan has found out she is expecting her second child. She's due in February 2004. She doesn't know the gender yet, but she thinks it's a boy this time.
Currently work as a Cisco tech support rep for Ingram Micro (It's all
about
computers baby!). Residing in Buffalo NY for the past 3 years but hope
to be
down south one day real soon. Hopefully I will recognize more of you in
person as I don't recall many faces on this home page? See you soon.
Wheres
Tommy Horton? Get him to bring the beer!

Eamen and I (formerly Stefanie Weatherspoon) will be married 8 years
this
coming October. We both work at Northrop Grumman in Dahlgren. We are
expecting our first child in July. We do not know the sex of the baby
at
this time. It will probably be a surprise. No other ultrasounds are
scheduled to be done. We live on the King George/Westmoreland county
line.
We can't wait to see everyone at the reunion.

I was in the Air Force for 9 years and separated last year to try my hand at civilian life and being a stable mom. I am living in Hampton, Va. with my wonderful husband of four years and two children, Joshua (3 years) and Faith (1 1/2 years). I am currently working as a Computer Graphics Artist / Photographer for Anser, Inc. and the Air Force. This is my dream job, unfortunately someday I will have to leave as Jason is hoping to retire from the Air Force in 2015 [but who's counting :)~]. Hopefully, soon we will be moving to Anchorage, Alaska our dream assignment. It was really nice seeing everyone at the reunion and hope we can stay in touch from time to time.
Best wishes always,
Christy

Not married yet, although I have met the love of my life, Peter. He is
a

me; to
my delight and my mother's disapproval. (Oh, well. She'll get over it
eventually).
I am still creative, and my passion right now is black and white
photography. I have ambitions of having a gallery opening of just my
work.
In the meantime, my home will have an ever-changing exhibition.
I am also writing a devotional sex fantasy book, but the completion of
that
is way off in the future.
I have been living in Melbourne, Australia where I
moved with my family in 1994. I studied a Bachelor of

large international aid agency (Oxfam) before spending
a year in Nepal with an organisation works on
prevention of trafficking of Nepali girls to India.
I'm now halfway through my Masters in International
