The Word from a Grandchild
Rebecca, portraying the angel that announced the birth of Jesus Christ, speaks the Word from Luke 2:10-12...
   "
Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings
of great joy, which shall be to all people.  For unto
you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour
which is Christ the Lord.  And this shall be a
sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in
swaddling clothes, lying in a manager."
Rebecca's fourth grade teacher assigned the topic "The most important word is..."  The following is what Rebecca wrote:
"The most important word is love because if it weren't for love we would not be alive.  God showed His love for us by creating us.  When Adam and Eve sinned, we were separated from God.  Sin is anyting against the will of God, but God loved us and sent His Son, Jesus, to earth.

Jesus was born in a stable and His bed was a manger.  Jesus never sinned like you and me.  Jesus grew up and told others about God and did miracles.  When He was thirty-three, He died on the cross because of love.  He died for our sins.  Then three
days later He rose from the dead.  Because He died for our sins, we can live with Him forever in heaven.  Heaven is a wonderful place.  After He rose from the dead, He walked on the earth for forty days.  Then He went back to heaven.  When He left, He told us to tell others about Him.

All you have to do to go to heaven is to believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and you will be saved.  If it weren't for love, we would still be separated from God.  That is why I think love is the most important word."
PaPa and GeeGee praise God for blessing us with eight wonderful grandchildren - God is good all the time!
