Holly Valencia F.C.
The Official Homepage of HVFC
Holly Valencia F.C. were formed in early 2003 by a group of mates who'd played together at Durham Uni and were looking for a regular game of football in the London area. Since then the squad has been added to and HV are now a well-oiled footballing machine....

HV participate in The Elms 5-a-side leagues in Battersea on a Tuesday night.
Latest News.....

Wednesday 1st June
Once again a depleted squad as only 5 turn up for back-to-back games. The first game sees some quality football as Banners bags a brace and Ads misses about 15 attempts. Wilse also scores with his left foot AGAIN. With only Banners feeling fresh at the start of the second game(!!), HV run out of steam and end up losing 6-0 to the Hitmen - Foordy does well to keep the score down to that little despite being offered very little help from his defence.

Wednesday 25th May
A week of contrasting fortunes: The Chiefs are easily beaten in the first game as HV dominate. The Showboat comes out as Ads pulls out some no-look passes, Foordy bosses the midfield (and almost scores) and Posh makes his comeback with some wayward shooting... The second game's a different story as HV are beaten 4-1 by the same team - a result which sends everyone home decidedly pissed off.

Wednesday 19th May
A good night all round, despite the early loss of Posh to a mystery illness (knob rot?) and Burners not making the first game. Game 1 doesn't start well, and HV are 3-0 down within 3 minutes. A storming comeback sees Ads score the winning goal and HV finally beat the Hitmen. The second game starts similarly badly, losing a goal in the first minute. However, Fat Boys Gut Club are, once again, appaling and HV ease out 6-1 winners. Wilse bags a hat-trick (and does some classy step-overs), Ads scores again and Banners pulls out skill of the week.

Wednesday 12th May
The new season sees a shock return to the Premier League. A depleted squad for the first games of the season, but still a vital 3 points is gained. SR Group are beaten by a Banners brace and a rare Foordy strike in the first game. HV run out of legs in the second game and, after holding Contact Lens for the first half or so, capitulate to a 6-0 defeat.
