people so far have been cringed by this story! Back track now or forever hold your peace! :)

This is an 'interactive' fan fiction, YOU get to choose the endings. The story plots are almost the same, only with slight differences. I have personal preferences of course ( no prizes for guessing which one though ) but there's nothing stopping you from trying out both! (HINT) P.S. : If the story does not seem to make any sense, just let it go okay? After all I did type this story out at night just before bedtime and so I'm not 'all there'. It IS a story after all right?

PPS:story is best read at night for "maximum impact". I kid you not!

This scene takes place right after Dimitri saves Anya from jumping off the 'Tanya':

After the storm

"Anya Nooooooooo!" shouted Dimitri as he swung down from the rope, just barely managing to grab Anya before she leapt off the ship. Suddenly the storm disappeared as mysteriously as it has appeared, as though an evil spell has just been broken. Anya abruptly awakes from her trance. " Th..the Romonov curse... " she stuttered, still recovering from shock. " I keep seeing faces... so many faces...." . Anya unconsciously broke into huge sobs.

" Shh..it's okay...Everything's gonna be fine...you're safe now.." Dimitri gives her a reassuring hug, not completely convinced of what he said himself. First the train wreck and now this.... this was too much of a coincidence. Maybe someone... or something was trying to stop us . But who? Or what? There was just too many questions, too many broken links........

"Dimitri...I...." Anya's trembling voice interrupted Dimitri's train of thought. His eyes met hers, and for a moment both were speechless. Anya has always been the stronger character, yet for the first time, she has exposed her vulnerable side; a completely different Anya . For all the courage and strength she has displayed , it was but a mere cover, layers of amour built around herself over the years to protect from any hurt. And now all layers of amour were shed in a single moment of weakness. There in his arms was a frightened and lost little girl; a lonely orphan searching for comfort and solace. Anya was crying yes, but the tears seemed to be tears of relief, as if she was glad to be able to discard the heavy burdens she had been carrying all this while, and finally able to have somebody to lean on....to depend on. There was something that about this Anya that seemed all too familiar to Dimitri ... a little boy who have also suffered much loneliness during his young days, abandoned and unloved. The world was a cruel place, and the only way to survive was to be strong and look out only for Number One: Yourself.

Seeing Anya in such a state, he almost felt a sense of guilt overwhelm him. Perhaps he ought to tell her... but what could he possibly say? This could not be a worse time.....no it's better to let things stay as it is... at least till ....
