M&R Entertainment was formed in 1994 by Jeremy Rubin and Georges Moes as an independent production company, with high production value in mind. In 1994 we wrote and developed a number of project ideas. Starting with a spec commercial entitled “Angelic Conversation”, we maintained quality in mind while keeping production costs low. We have also provided pre-production services and production design services for many feature films, including: “Gangster Glam” and “California Convertible,” a Cineville production; “Eating L.A.,” a Nuts & Bolts Production; “Auricon,” a Kusza Production; “Fast Track,” a Java Entertainment production.
In 1995/1996, we developed the idea for M&R Entertainment’s first short film titled “Alternate Realities.” This dark-dramatic piece was a spin-off of a feature-length script written by the partners Jeremy Rubin and Georges Moes. The intention of this project is to show the vision of the filmmakers, expressing the elements of it’s original counterpart “L.A. Dreamin’”.
We have also produced and developed a series of music videos for the Korean rock signer ‘D.O.’. The videos made it to the top three spots in Korea, and are being played on the Korean-verision of MTV. Also in 1996, we recently have finished the short film “Arrivals and Departures,” which we had co-produced.
M&R Entertainment strives on new ideas and visions. Currently we have various projects in development, while also looking forward help other filmmakers realize their vision.
