AJ has landed his first part in an original play being put on by his childrens theater co. He has a role as the major character in one scene of the play. He plays Star Trek's Captian Kirk, with a Shakespearean flair. He has dived right into this role and is doing a wonderful job of remembering his lines, cues etc. I was impressed that a "newbie" would be offered such a "difficult" role, full of Thou's, me thinkest's, yonder comes's etc... (LOL), over other kids who have been affiliated with the theater co or acting in general longer. What do you all think? I want to be encouraged by this and to encourage him, but I don't want to over react. Anyway, wish him luck. We are so excited for him but he is on cloud nine, or should I say "The Enterprise".
