Sterling's point was definitely one I missed and it is an important one. What I have always stressed to Brandon from the very beginning is that if he isn't chosen 'instead of' someone else, it isn't personal. It could be something as simple as eye color, height, or personality traits. Somebody once said that auditions are like busses. If you miss one, another one is sure to come along. I think it is especially important at AJ's age to focus on the fun of acting rather than all that gritty, dirty, political stuff that comes with age and experience. And I agree!
