I really appreciate the response. The letter idea is great. I think I'm going to call and talk to them on the phone and then just send a letter to confirm what we discussed ... so it's in writing (Great advice, Larry).

I did try to call them today, but I wimped out ... coz the agent who is representing me theatrically was resting from back surgery and then the other agent told me they just submitted me for 2 commercials and they are waiting to hear back. Sooooo .... boy, is this tough. I wimped out and said I'd try to get back to them on Monday when he returns to work. (He was out of the office that long ... he said the surgery only took one day and he went home the next, but is just resting for the weekend ... so I'd don't think that is any reason why I haven't been going out.)

Anyway, we'll see if I have the guts on Monday. Should I just call Burkett and tell them I've decided to leave my old agent and just start rolling with them for a while before I break things off? I mean Burkett still needs pictures and resumes, etc. so it might take them a while to start submitting me. After they start, then I'll break it with Don Schwartz. Is that a good idea?

Anyway, just so you know, Sterling. I'm still non-union so I don't really have much pull about getting what I want from agencies. Like you said, I'm not going to push the issue at all about not being represented "across the board". Thanks for the advice about thanking them. It's a good reminder. Also, about the monologues ... fortunately, I had that one in my brain. I've got to learn more. I didn't realize I needed so many. I've just not been on my toes about monologues at all. I need a good little acting class to give me a push.

I've also been swamped with starting my new editing business so ... acting has kind of been on the back burner that last couple months anyway, though I am looking for a class to join. Well, thanks for your support, people!

I appreciate it and this site. It feels more homey here than at Castnet. I hope you get a few Xs there, Sterling.
