I've seen other Bette Midler pages who have copied my information straight over and it makes me mad. Same typos, format and everything! I can just tell. I was one of the first Bette sites out on the internet.  I first put this page up in January of 1997.  There were hardly any Bette Midler pages then.  I've had most of this information on here since I did this page in '97. I know I was the first Bette site to have the Sophie Jokes and her Awards and Covers to the extent that I do.  I've collected the award and magazine covers information over the span of 7 years.  I've listened to her albums and watched her concerts over and over while typing all those sophie jokes.  I've worked hard and hate to see that hard work taken by others.  I think I'm the only Bette Midler FAN site right now with all of the box office information for her movies. I did most of the research myself and hate to see it taken away to another site.
