This is a page where you can find out current news information on Kerri. This includes TV appearances, segments devoted to her on TV, public appearances, etc. I will also have general gymnastics news that I feel people will be interested in, such as Mag7 news and televised gymnastics info. Due to the shortage of news in recent weeks, I will start giving full credit to everyone who sends me news first. Why didn't I before, you ask? I received too much news to keep straight, so I didn't want to accidentally give credit to the wrong person.

APPEARANCE: From Larry S.: Kerri will be signing her new book at Borders Books and Music in Tucson, Arizona (across from Tucson Mall) on Wednesday, November 27th at 7PM.
SITE: The picture archive is up, but I still have a ton of pictures that I'm unable to post yet. I should have some time to get more up this weekend, including some exclusives.
TV: From D. Gorman: Kerri will be on a The 10 Most Fascinating People of 1996 with Barbara Walters on Friday, December 6 at 9PM CST (ABC Network).
DAWES: Chris Z.:Dominique Dawes in in Prince's new video for the song Emancipation.
Tuesday, November 19
APPEARANCE: From Kerri's AOL Journal (By way of S.R.): Kerri will be at Planet Hollywood in Los Angeles to celebrate her birthday. The party starts at 6:30 PM, and everyone is invited. Kerri will sign the first 1000 copies of book, Heart of Gold, during the first hour of the event.
AOL: From Kerri's AOL Journal (By way of S.R.): At 7PM CST, Kerri will go online and and take questions in the auditorium on AOL.
TV: From Kerri's AOL Journal (By way of S.R.): On Friday, Kerri will be on Good Morning America. Get your tapes ready!
MAGAZINE: I picked up the November issue of International Gymnast Magazine last Saturday, and it has two exclusive pics of Kerri, one of her on beam at the Olympics and one of her with Shamu, the killer whale. The issue has a feature on the Olympics as well as some other Kerri tidbits.
SITE: The birthday card is down and will be sent just after I finish typing this update. I have been having problems with GeoCities since Saturday, and it's been hard to get the updates here on time. I'm sorry for the delay with today's news. Since GeoCites was down on Saturday night, I wasn't able to finish putting the new picture archive up, but I will finish it this weekend.

TV: Dominique Moceanu will not be on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno tonight. It was either a wild rumor, or Oprah Winfrey took over the slot held by Dominique.
SITE: The birthday card is up! Please take a moment to sign it.
SITE: I redesigned the picture archive! I'll finish the construction tommorrow. If you have any pictures of Kerri that aren't in the archive, please send them my way.

APPEARANCE: From Helena R. (by way of Larry S.): Kerri will be at another Macy's store on Monday, November 25th at 3PM, this time at the Bridgewater Commons Mall in New Jersey. You get an autographed picture with the purchase of Champion clothing.
MAGIC: I saw a commercial for the Magic Tour on TV tonight, so it looks like the promoters have finally discovered the art of advertising. For those of you in Minnesota, tickets for the December 29th date at Target Center go on sale this Friday at Ticketmaster.
HANCOCK: From Larry S.: Some new Hancock dates have been added for 1997. Check out the USAG website for a complete listing.

TV: From L. Stevens: Kerri will be on America's Funniest Home Videos tommorrow. It airs on the ABC network in the US.
NEWS: From D. Chiang: Kerri has been selected as the Grand Marshal of the Fiesta Bowl Parade. The event is in Arizona and will occur on New Year's Day.
MAGIC: From L. Stevens: The entire cast of the Magic tour was available for interviews two hours prior to one of the shows as well as after. They also signed autographs for the public immediately after the event. Whether this is true of all Magic stops is uncertain at this time.
SITE: Yes! Parallelism! What do you all think of the consistant look? Now, on to updating the transcripts, pictures, and the definitions pages. I haven't forgotten!
TV: From S. Margolin: Kerri will appear on the post-Monday-Night-Football show Monday Night Live With Todd Donoho, which airs tonight at 9PM PST on KABC-TV, channel 7, in Los Angeles.
