This is a page where you can find out current news information on Kerri. This includes TV appearances, segments devoted to her on TV, public appearances, etc. I will also have general gymnastics news that I feel people will be interested in, such as Mag7 news and televised gymnastics info. Due to the shortage of news in recent weeks, I will start giving full credit to everyone who sends me news first. Why didn't I before, you ask? I received too much news to keep straight, so I didn't want to accidentally give credit to the wrong person.

SITE: I'm back from spring break, and I found a surprise in my e-mail... news! It's been a while.
NEWS: First, let me thank Larry S. for sending me the initial press release about Kerri not recieving full payment from Magic Promotions for appearing on the tour. A few days later, I received the following from "ddawesfan":
Today's Houston Chronicle (March 14th, 1997) is reporting that olympic Gold medalist Kerri Strug has filed suit against Magic Promotions Inc., the company that sponsored the Gold Gymnastics Tour. The suit filed in The US District in Tucson, AZ, is for an amount of more than $850,000, which is still owed to Strug from the guaranteed 1.13 million. The suit also states that she wants out of her contract with Magic Promotions Inc. that lasts till Fall 1997.
