TV: Dated News: Kerri was on the Home and Family show on Friday the 23rd, which aired on The Family Channel. Nothing new was mentioned, but they did give her a boom box and some other stuff for her dorm room.
TOUR: Here's something I forgot to include in yesterday's "massive" update: Domonique Dawes signed a contract in 1994 to perform at this year's John Hancock tour. After hearing how much she could make on the Magic tour, she changed her mind. She and her coach are now questioning the validity of the contract, so Dawes had a lawyer look it over. Nothing else is know at this time.

Amy Chow has probably signed a contract by now, also, but I haven't heard which tour she picked. Kerri made a verbal committment for the Magic tour, but nothing is official in her case yet. NEWS: Recent events in the gymnastics world have disrupted the Mag7's ride through stardom. The official 1996 Tour of World Gymnastics Champions (co-produced by Jefferson Pilot Sports and Bill Graham Presents and sanctioned by USA Gymnastics) which the gymnasts previously stated they would perform on may be out of the picture. Another tour promoted by Magic Concert Productions, which also produces magician David Copperfield, is trying to lure the gymnasts with 10 times as much money ($1,000,000 rather than $100,000) for a 2-year deal consisting of about 50 shows. None of the gymnasts have firmly stated they would accept the offer. Here's a link to an article from the Chicago Tribune. Let the bout of agents begin... Perhaps the end of integrity... I hoped this wouldn't happen.
