While the “decidedly modern super-team’s” line-up has gone through some twists and turns and additions and subtractions since James Robinson’s and David Goyer’s new ongoing JSA series was first announced last year, DC is ready to reveal the FULL INITIAL LINE-UP in next week’s The JSA Returns wrap-up.
But if you can’t wait for next week, or haven’t kept up with the line-up changes through the comics press over the last several months, here’s the most complete info on the team, the line-up, and the early issues of series illustrated by Stephen Sadowski and Michael Bair (with covers by Alan Davis and Mark Farmer) as provided by DC.

“In JSA #1, Part 1 of the 4-part ‘Vengeful Incarnations,’ the team gathers at the funeral of a member of the original Justice Society and quickly discovers that the champion being buried was murdered - murdered because he uncovered crucial knowledge concerning the impending birth of a new Dr. Fate. There are dark forces at work, forces that have plans of their own for Fate's sorcerous powers. In addition, at last night’s AOL JSA chat with Robinson and Goyer, Goyer told attendees that tentative plans are being made to revive the traditional yearly JLA/JSA crossover, with the first taking place towards the end of the JSA’s first year.
