Star Trek: The Next Generation is the show that started the current age of science fiction on television back in 1987.

The aliens listed here are all one-shot appearances and unique to The Next Generation, with one exception--the Ferengi. The other races have been put in seperate categories: Romulans are in TOS, Cardasssians in DS9, and the Borg in Voyager.
