Where can I buy the R + J CD-ROM?

In the last shot, R+J in the church before Romeo died, at the original screenplay (Luhrman/Pearce) is written, that Father Lorenzo comes to the church and tells Julia about Romeos destiny. But in the movie there was nothing about Father Lorenzo. Was this cut out or not filmed?
I noticed that also because I followed the screenplay with the movie an noticed that in the moive they left lines out and switched scenes.

Did Leonardo made all the fights with John Leguizamo (especially at the theatre ruin) by himself or was they made by stunts?
I don't know

Are anywhere links or tips to sites in the internet with photos and reports from the shooting in mexico, such about the time there between "cuts", about effects, tricks, mishaps and other stories, which are not common and usual like all the previews?
I don't know because I do not live in Mexico and little info is known

And are anywhere possibilities to download different articles from US-Teen Mags like BoP, BB or other Mags about Leo?
Maybe on some other sites, but someone could always type it out and send it to me.

Can you explain, why Leo is half German, a quarter Italian and the rest? I know about his german mother, but what is about his father, half to half Italian and American or what does that mean?
Leo is one fourth Italian and 3 fourths German. His mother is fully German and his father is half German and half Italian.

Is there any sheet music out from R&J? Like piano music?
I have looked at one of the largest malls in the Midwest and I could not find anything!

Does you have the CD ROM Romeo and Juliet? If so ..... do you have any hints as to how to use it to it's fullest? The readme.txt file only gives a few hints and suggests that one should be able to figure out the rest.....

It made me mad that they don't give you more clues on the help file of R&J cd-rom. I did figure one thing out though. Along the side there is a cone shaped button. If you push it it will take you over to another part of the screen. You can see bigger pictures and even read parts of the script. When you change songs new parts of the script and pictures come up. (you probably knew this)

Anyone know what is going to be on the R&J Soundtrack Volume II? Any ideas?

  • The only things that I know for sure that are going to be on the Volume II of the R&J soundtrack is Prince's song, "When Doves Cry", The Radiohead song in the credits, actual clips from the movie and some of the more popular songs from the first soundtrack!

  • I've heard that the instrumental score by Nellee Hooper and "When Doves Cry" by Quindon Tarver will be featured on the 2nd soundtrack, along with some dialogue from the film (like the 1968 soundtrack!!)

    Where can I buy the R&J 1996 poster?
    You can get a Romeo and Juliet poster at Class Act posters on the internet . It is a small business out of Illinois. The poster is $14.00 + shipping. It is one of the most popular posters of the time.
    Also, for the poster, lobby cards, 8x10's call 1-800-252-0425 (Rick's movie graphics).

    The Capulet kids all wear religious emblems as marks of their faith.

    How did Tybalt kill Mercutio?

  • Mercutio was about to smash Tybalt's head in with a chair leg when Romeo jumped between them, preventing his friend from injuring Tybalt. Tybalt siezed the opportunity, grabbed a piece of broken glass and, *reaching underneath Romeo's arm* stabbed Mercutio. Mercutio, misreading Romeo's intentions, began his speech of, "a plague on both your houses." Just before dying, Mercutio, incorrectly believing that Romeo allowed Tybalt to injust him, whispered, "Why the devil came you between us? I was hurt under your arm!" Romeo, realizing his friend believes he betrayed him responds brokenly, "I thought 'twas all for the best." And then Mercutio dies.

    I can add a little: Remember the little burning heart symbol? Well, Tybalt has that tattoed on his chest. He was wearing just a black shirt, like OPEN, while he was watching Romeo with Mercutio. And then while he was in that pool/water/Whatever thing, like, you know...uh--DEAD, it was all bloody around him and you could see WHERE the blood was coming from, so, nope, the dummy had no vest on. (I'm kidding, please no one take it personally!)

  • What role does Balthsar have in the movie?

    Balthasar is Romeo's manservant.
    He served as a messenger....remember when he saw Juliet "dead" and told Romeo...if he hadn't both of their deaths would have been avoided. But, besides all that...the best thing about Balthasar (in this version) is that he's played by Jesse Bradford, a beautiful, talented young actor (Hackers) who should have had more screen time...imho.....Well, I guess I'll stop lecturing...
