A giant monster befriends a little boy and enjoys his grass whistle a lot. The monster becomes then almost human, swearing than he won't hurt anybody anymore. But he somehow becomes crazy again and fights Spectreman. This is all the more tricky since another creature appears : Magmasaurus.

Spectreman defeats Magmasaurus thanks to Metanodon who finally offered his life to protect mankind. The good monster finally dies while the boy plays an ultimate requiem with his grass whistle

42. Solar Mask Has Come From Space (71.10.16)
- Kabagon, Tengudon -
Some children behave strangely in the city : a strange alien named Tayoo Kamen actually proposed them them  to transform people into monster. While Spectreman battles a creature from space, the schoolboys use a special machine and transform their teacher into a huge purple hippo-like beast.

43. The Arrival Of Monster Kabagon (71.10.23)
- Kabagon -
The space alien appears to be Rah and still tries to exploit the children but fortunately Spectreman intervenes and stops the whole plot. Kabagon finally returns to the teacher's original form.

44. Alien Kyudora -  Cosmic Plunderer (71.10.30)
- Kyudora -
[FS : Moon, then a scared woman]
A Palu alien asks Joji to help him to catch the space criminal vampire Kyudora who has landed on Earth. The creature kills young women before engaging Spectreman whom he wounds severely.

45. Alien Pal Forever (71.11.6)

[FS: Joji, wounded, lying on a rock]
Joji inquires about the real identity of Kyudora who he believes to be a woman. Actually, Kyudora is a man who hides in the cave of his home. He attacks the weak Palu alien and kills him. Spectreman appears and kills the monster after a fight where he used a giant cross as a sword. The impaled monster discomposes and the Alien Pal is buried by Joji.

46. An Invitation From The Dead (71.11.13)

[FS : A Plane]
Kaga invites Joji and Hiromi to visit his folks in the country but the village is taken over by Gama aliens, who are toadmen, under the control of Gori. A giant Toad monster appears but Spectreman defeats him.

47. Alien Gama Commence Attack (71.11.20)
- Toad monster -
[FS : Toad Monster]
Ota and Arito rejoin their friends to struggle against the Gama aliens. Joji and his fellows are captured but they cleverly escape (they send a toad to get the key!). Under the order of Gori, the Toadmen kill themselves to create another Toad monster but unsuccessfully since Spectreman destroys it again.

[FS : A scientist walking steps]
A mentally retarded young man, Sankichi is cured mostly thanks to a scientist and his love for a little dog. The scientist is then controlled by Gori and the dog becomes a giant monster that Spectreman has to kill.

49. Genius Monster Noman (71.12.4)
- Noman -
[FS : Joji]
The behaviour of Sankichi becomes gradually strange, feeding himself only with raw meat.
He finally becomes a monster to his turn, who attacks others to eat their brains. Spectreman arrives and defeats him unwillingly. He turns back into a human and he's buried near his dog.

50. Smash Alien Igorl (71.12.11)
- Black Dragon -
[FS : View through a town inside a car]
A family father finds a strange stone which appears to be cobalt. Meanwhile the Alien Igorl take over a village and fight with the G-Men, trying to destroy the village with trucks. Joji fails in transmuting since he's got his right arm hurt but suddenly a replica of Spectreman do battle with Black Dragon, monster from Igoria.

51. Enigma Of The Cobalt Monster (71.12.18)

[FS : Flashback from previous episode]
Joji recovers and fights his evil twin. The two Spectreman are engaged in a fierce battle which sees the victory of the real hero. Spectreman kills Blackdragon and frees the village.

[FS : A village]
The Kaiju G-Men captures a monster and decides to transport him into a lab but all the operation is followed by Chojin, a birdman sent by Gori. At night, Chojin steals the bullets which serve to asleep the monster and Ota is swallowed by the creature. Spectreman finally arrives and freezes the monster, rescuing Ota.

53. Pulverize The Computer Monster (72.1.1)
- Computer Kaiju, Weed Humanoid -
[FS : The country]
The Kaiju G-Men help two orphans in a village but are quickly confronted to Weed Humanoids, which are able to transform instantly from weed to men. They're aided by Computer Monster which helps them to conquer the village. Joji is struck on the head and gets amnesia.

54. Pulverize the Computer Monster ! (72.1.8)
- Computer Kaiju, Collosal Weed Humanoid -
[FS : G-Men in a house]
The villagers are attacked by the Weed Humanoids but are aided by the G-Men though Joji is unable to react as he's lost his memory. He eventually transforms into Spectreman and regains his memory beating the Weed aliens. He's then confronted to the Computer Kaiju which would like to get the cyborg's energy but our hero finally wins.

55. Order : Assassinate Spectreman (72.1.15)
- Comet Mask, Muderah Triplets, Kilaar Aliens -
[FS:  Spectreman walking in a valley]
Gori sends his Murderah triplets to kill Spectreman. They first terrorize a village and chase a little boy, Hajime, who is saved by another alien Comet Mask. The Kilaar aliens and the Murderah Triplets join their forces to kill Spectreman who's about to be killed but he's saved by Comet Mask.

56. Cosmic Murderer Comet Mask (72.1.22)
- Ryuusei Kamen, Muderah Triplets, Kilaar Seijin -
[FS : Spectreman and the aliens]
Comet Mask is a kind of neutral hero who kills the Murderer Triplets and who challenges Spectreman to do an ultimate duel.
The showdown between the two cowboys takes place on a deserted hill. Spectreman finally triumphs over the cosmic superhero.

57. Resurrection Of Great Satan (72.1.29)

[FS : Shooting Star]
Joji helps a man whose beloved one is imprisoned in a house. He rescues her but the G-Men soon learn that the woman is none other than Great Satan. She leads the Satan aliens Monster. Spectreman fights Golda, Great Satan's monster !

Gori agrees to join his forces with Satan to conquer the world in a secret dark cave but Joji was spying them. He first has to fight the aliens before changing into Spectreman to battle Satan herself. During  the battle, the man who loved her becomes crazy and follows her beloved one in her fall. Satan dies after understanding this man really loved her. Spectreman overwhelms Golda.

59. Alien Genos - Messenger from Hell (72.2.26)

[FS : Landscape, then Gori and Rah standing on a hill]
Gori meets alien Genos who shows him a way to resurrect dead : he kills Rah in front of his eyes and then revives him with a red potion. The apeman becomes berserk and tries to kill his own master. Thanks to this brew, criminals are resurrected. Meanwhile, Joji befriends a boy who has psychic powers when monster Dokuron suddenly appears.

Spectreman fails at killing the monster and is powerless in front of the new wave of crime that Gori has started. Joji is even captured and tortured. The young boy is finally killed by the aliens and Spectreman kills the monster along with the Genos Aliens.

61. The Terrifying Monster Show (72.3.11)
- Kitoto, Migel Seijin -
[FS : Roller Coaster]
A very strange episode, probably one of the weakest of the series. The Migel Seijin hide in a theme park and they even transform a boy into a chicken-like monster. Joji and Hiromi are having good time in the park until they notice something is wrong. Spectreman arrives and captures Rah but must free him or the boy and other prisoners will die. Rah goes back to the spaceship while Gori saves the boy.

62. Gori's Final Death Match ! (72.3.18)
- Desidoman -
[FS : Golda]
Gori's last plan consists in building a monster capable of being faster than Spectreman. To do so, he captures a famous boxer and steals his brain. While the monster is being created, Gori sends Moguz to battle Spectreman who flashes the monster in 0.025 seconds. Before Desidoman enters the battle, Rah meets Joji and reveals him that they now know he is Spectreman. The episode ends when Spectreman and Desidoman have both shot each other.

63. Goodbye Spectreman ! (72.3.25)
- Rah, Gori -
[FS : Gori's screen control]
Desidoman collapses : Spectreman's been faster than Gori's new creation. The apeman now has no other solution than confronting himself Spectreman. Rah proposes to achieve this task and thus undergoes a special training. The G-Men  find Gori's new base that they make explode. Soon after Gori challenges Spectreman to a final battle at the sunset. Joji has just the time to see his friends for the last time before changing  into Spectreman. The cyborg defeats Rah with his Double Flash and tries to convince Gori to help mankind but it's too late, Gori jumps from a cliff and explodes. The G-Men now understand that Spectreman and George were the same person all the time while the cyborg leaves Earth and flies through space, probably to the Nebula station, his task accomplished.
