The Story of Duncan MacLeod

Duncan is immortal,
He chops off lots of heads,
Most of the women he met,
Wound up in his bed

Duncan's age is 400,
He never grows old,
He goes around collecting,
immortal souls.

Duncan has a friend,
Amanda is her name,
She always breaks the law,
And drives him insane.

Amanda is a thief,
Who's always getting caught,
She plants the loot on Duncan,
Who gets arrested by the cops.

Duncan has a watcher friend,
His name is Joe Dawson,
He's always interfering, but,
The guy is really awesome.

He gives vital information,
When Duncan has no clue,
To help him with survival,
In an immortal zoo.

Duncan had a love,
Tessa is her name,
She was gunned down,
for a, small bit of change.

Duncan's buddy Richie,
Who was gunned down too,
became a part of the,
immortal zoo.

Duncan is always haunted,
By James Horton's ghost,
Its the one spirit,
That bugs him the most.

Duncan is filled with sorrow,
That sometimes makes him blue,
He feels so much pain inside,
It breaks his heart in two.

Duncan has many flashbacks,
That reveal his past,
Of friendships with immortals,
That just didn't last.

Duncan is a Highlander,
Who was made to last,
Born on a winter solstice,
But, that's all in his past.

This is Duncan's little story,
Of how he's lived 400 years,
Chopping off immortal heads,
And all his pain and fears.

So if you wish to be immortal,
I hope this makes you see,
That having immortality,
Is not all that its cracked up to be.

When what's said is said,
And what's done is done,
Eventually in the end,
There can be only one!!
