Big Sky Motor Movie

I explored this vacant lot once, in 1988, when I was a student at Washington State University. It was mostly dry-grass filled, partially used for vehicle storage, and it had the remains of a marquee and some speaker pole equipment remaining. I could still see the trademark "Motiograph" on the top of one pole. Either the projection booth was gone, or it had always looked like the house of the occupant who now lived there. The theater looked a lot more spiffy in a daytime photo of a fraternity group in a WSU yearbook from 1978.

The new photos are from a return trip in 1998.
