North Cedar

Spokane

N 6400 Cedar Road. From the looks of the map, a power line ran right down the east side of the lot, and even over a corner of the snack bar.

Update: This theater is still mostly up, though demolition seems immenent. The formerly paved lot looks like it has been jackhammered, so they may be about to level the place. The screen tower is still up, but it looks like it used to have asbestos tiles, which have been removed leaving just brown wood paneling.

Marquee for this theater. On the right side is a frame that looks like it used to shield the screen from light from the sign.

Row landscaping for the theater, with the snack bar/projection building on the right, now behind a short fence. It’s hard to tell if the pavement has been recently torn up for demolition, or if Spokane’s extreme temperatures have done it.

Close-up of screen. It appears that the actual screen surface used to be asbestos or some other separate material that used to be placed on the wood paneling here.

Screen tower.

Better perspective on the screen, with what could be a former exit sign in the foreground. That was one WIDE screen.

View straight back to the snack bar, with posts of something in the foreground. Row number signs, perhaps.
