Men In Black
Medium Popcorn
This is another one of those movies that is simply fun to watch. It won't win the Best Picture Oscar, although it may be in the running for visual effects, but you must go see this at some time. The movie is about a secret agency designed to monitor illegal alien activities. But these aliens come from different planets. Tommy Lee Jones plays Agent K, a veteran member of the Men in Black who must find a new partner. He sees something in a New York Cop and, against the wishes of his superiors, makes him his new partner. The new Agent J, played by Will Smith, and in my opinion one of the funniest men in movies, reluctantly accepts his role in the MIB, adjusting to is new adversaries. What makes this movie worth seeing is that it is done in a "tongue-in-cheek" manner. The bad jokes and cheap one liners are what is fun and funny about MIB. And everyone chips in. Will Smith leads the way, but Tommy Lee Jones gets a few in here and there, and Linda Fiorentino gets some of the best scenes in the morgue. I love these types of movies, you can watch them without really having to think. You can just be entertained, which is what movies were originally meant to do.
