Nothing To Lose
Medium Popcorn
This is one of thos movies that is simply a fun movie to see. There is nothing extra special about it, but yet nothing bad about it. It was just a really funny movie. In the movie, Martin Lawrence plays T. Paul, a smart product of a cruel system who is forced to carjack someone in order to make ends meet.
Unfortunately, for him, his victim is Nick Beame, played by Tim Robbins. Nick is having, possibly, the worst day of his life and has become desperate and suicidal. When T. Paul attempts to carjack him, he "just snaps." This type of movie is great because you don't expect anything from it except to be entertained, which it does very well.
Martin Lawrence does some of his funniest work in this movie, and Tim Robbins, somehow, is a hilarious partner for him. This movie won't win any Oscars, but it is this kind of movie that keeps the movie industry alive: simple, funny, yet meaningful.
