North and South are Lee Otter, James Hurst, Tom Lowe and Sam Chapman.

Lee is the one who sings the lead vocals. He is known for his tanned skin and huge smile. James plays bass guitar and screams in the background of 'Man not a Boy'. He is recognised by his wild hair colouring. When North and South started his hair was a purple and green mohecan, then green, then it was red and yellow, and then came another mohecan, and there there was purple, and now… well it's kind of nice strawberry blondish colour… In real life his hair almost glows! Tom is the keyboard player and backing vocalist recognised by his charming smile. He can not only play the keyboard, but a range of other instruments, including the clarinet. Sam is the other keyboard player instantly recognisable by his glasses and a permanent frown.

North and South have so far released three singles, namely 'Man not a Boy' and 'Tarantino's New Star' and 'Breathing' (all Top 20 hits), and starred in one TV series, called No Sweat. It was shown on BBC1 earlier this year and gave them a push into pop stardom. A second series has been planned.

An album has already been recorded, and is due for release in the New Year.
