The Story Of Us : Official Site has released trailers for the Bruce Willis and Michelle Pfeiffer starrer film is directed by Rob Reiner who directed When Harry Met Sally, A Few Good Men, The American President. The film is a romantic comedy about a married couple (Willis, Pfeiffer). They are trying to restart their love life after fifteen years together. And asking to themselves Can a marriage survive 15 years of marriage?

Numbers : After the Vacation From Marriage, Nora Ephron (Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail) will helm Numbers. Ephron will get a $6 million payday, with a significant back-end percentage. Ephron wants John Travolta to star in the film which is about a TV weatherman who is the owner of a fledgling snowmobile dealership in Pennsylvania. Desperate for cash, he teams with a couple of friends to scam a local lottery and ends up winning millions.

Two Gentlemen Sharing : John Schlesinger (Midnight Cowboy,Marathon Man) 'who directed The Next Best Thing which stars Madonna and Rupert Everett, has signed to direct the gay comedy Two Gentlemen Sharing. The story of the film, takes place in an English village which is turned upside-down by the arrival of a theatrical producer and his free-spirited young boyfriend. The mutual culture shock leads to a number of revelations in the seemingly tranquil town. The film is based on the novel by William Corlett.

The X-Files : The actor, who plays FBI agent Fox Mulder on the show, won't sign for the eighth season. Seven years of aliens, conspiracies, and paranormal encounters is plenty, says David Duchovny. He told the Toronto Sun, Seven years is a long time to do one show and I have other things to do. Curiously, Gillian Anderson is signed to an eighth season. Duchovny'swill next be seen teaming with Minnie Driver for the romantic comedy Return to Me. Duchovny is committed to upcoming X-Files movies and he will continue to make motion pictures about the adventures of Mulder and Scully.

Scream : A teenager who was sentenced to life without parole for killing his mother said Thursday that his exposure to TV and movie horror caused him to fantasize how to do things I could not do. Mario Padilla, 17, said the film Scream inspired him to kill his mother with the help of his cousin, who was sentenced Thursday to 25 years to life. Before sentencing, Padilla, 17, gave a statement to a probation officer saying he had watched television since he was 7 and it was ironic how people say do not let your children watch TV at that age because it really does affect them. In the statement, portions of which were read aloud by Superior Court Judge John Cheroske, Padillo described his reactions to TV and movie violence. The first stage you see a guy's head being blown off and you feel compassion, he said. The second stage you see it again, you feel compassion, but it's not as strong as the first ... the fifth stage, you want to do it but it's just a thought. The last stage you do it and you want to do it again. 

Dudley Do-Right : Brendan Fraser and Sarah Jessica Parker stars in the comedy of a clumsy man Dudley Do-Right. He is committed to fighting crime in the remote wilderness of Canada, and succeeded. But Nell is endangered, Dudley will need to rescue her, Fraser stars as Nell Fenwick and Parker as Dudley Do-Right. Hugh Wilson (Blast from the Past, Police Academy) directed the comedy.

Star Wars : Episode 2 : Yesterday, The Phantom Menace producer Rick McCallum told to Cinescape Online that the casting for the film's second chapter has begun. After that, U.K.’s Daily Mirror tabloid newspaper reported that Robert Carlyle (Transpotting, The World is Not Enough) may star in the next Star Wars film. According to newspaper, George Lucas is being particularly impressed by Carlyle’s rise to stardom so he may get a role in the film. The role for Caryle not know yet but the actor's reps in Britain called it pure speculation and insisted that they weren't aware of any talks on the matter.

Slow Man : Tom Shadyac (Patch Adams) will helm Slow Man about an allegorical tale of a man who is 100 times slower than everybody else. A female research doctor discovered him in a hospital, who appears to be in his 30s. In the Civil War, a shrapnel got lodged in a very specific part of his brain and slowed his body functions like growing, speaking etc.. Shadyac may direct the film.

Vacation From Marriage : Nora Ephron, the director of such romantic comedies Sleepless in Seattle and You've Got Mail, is now attach to direct Vacation From Marriage. The film will be the remake of 1945 British comedy Perfect Strangers-Vacation From Marriage which starred Robert Donat and Deborah Kerr. The story is about a married couple, who decide to separate for a year. During that time, unbeknownst to each other, they each blossom. They are sure that their marriage will have to end, until they realize what they have become.

Sweet and Lowdown : Sony Pictures Classics purchased of North American rights to Woody Allen's latest picture, Sweet and Lowdown. The film stars Sean Penn, Uma Thurman and Samantha Morton. The film, which Allen wrote and directed but did not star in, is about a wild and eccentric jazz guitarist (Penn), whose character undergoes a series of hilarious and harrowing events as he clashes with various lovers, musicians and gangsters.

Bones : Snoop Doggy Dogg is attached to star in director Ernest Dickerson's latest film project Bones. Rapper Dogg may star in the movie about a ghost who is reawakened 20 years after his murder in order to exact revenge on his killers.

Stanley Kubrick : The British Academy of Film & Television Arts Los Angeles will honor filmmaker Stanley Kubrick with its Britannia Award, which it has renamed the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film. Kubrick's widow, Suzanne, will accept the award. Previous Britannia winners include John Travolta (1998), Dustin Hoffman (1997), Bob and Harvey Weinstein (1996) and Anthony Hopkins (1995).

Mission: Impossible 2 : Paramount Pictures has shifted the opening day of Tom Cruise starrer Mission: Impossible 2 from Christmas to Wednesday, May 24 . Also another Cruise film Minority Report will be relased in the summer of 2000. Fox sci-fi thriller Minority Report is set to open June 30.

Partners : Casper Van Dien (Starship Troopers) and David Paymer (Quiz Show) will star in comedy Partners. Joey Travolta (Laws of Deception, Detour) will direct the film which is about the adventures of a drifter (Van Dien) and a strait-laced man (Paymer) who are inadvertently brought together by a briefcase containing an important computer disk. Vanessa Angel (Kingpin) will star as Paymer's deceptive girlfriend.

The Haunting : Director Jan De Bont's (Twister, Speed, Speed 2: Cruise Control) new film stars Liam Neeson, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Lili Taylor, Owen Wilson and Virginia Madsen. The film is a remake of the 1963 psychological thriller, The Haunting which is about four people assembled in a haunted house in an attempt to investigate ghosts said. Their leader is a charming parapsychologist (Neeson). As the night unravels, however, one of the party (Taylor) finds her psyche unraveling under the strain of strange voices, and strange forces.... Jakob The Liar : Robin Williams starrer film about a man named Jakob Heym (Williams) who tells people that he has access to news reports of Allied victories against the Nazi's (but he doesn't). He is in the hope of helping his fellow victims keep hope and faith in the Jewish ghettoes of Warsaw during World War II. When the Nazi's hear this, they begin a search for the source of the news. The List : After passing on Runaway Bride, Sandra Bullock will helm the comedy The List. Screenwriters are Josan McGibbon and Sara Parriott (Runaway Bride). The pic centers on the travails of a long-suffering girlfriend who finally extracts from her man a checklist of conditions she must meet before he will agree to take that jitters-inducing walk down the aisle. Casting for the movie not known yet but producer Bullock may get the lead role. She will be next seen in Gun Shy which includes Liam Neeson and Oliver Platt in the cast.

The Matrix Series : Hollywood Reporter reports that Warner Bros is exploring budgets and timing in order to be able to green light the second and third installment of The Matrix, with Keanu Reeves again to star. Writer-directors Andy and Larry Wachowski and Reeves will team again. There is no script for the second installment for the film. The Matrix opened March 31 and taken in $167.9 million at the domestic boxoffice. Reeves will know satr in the comedy The Replacements with Gene Hackman. Pic is about on the 1987 NFL players strike in which a motley band of substitutes took over for the Washington Redskins and went on to a string of victories.

The Patriot : Tom Wilkinson (Full Monty), has agreed to play in The Patriot. The movie which is directed by Roland

Emmerich stars Mel Gibson. Wilkinson plays one of two bitter adversaries whose actions goad Gibson's character into becoming a reluctant patriot.The film is produced by Mark Gordon, Gary Levinsohn and Dean Devlin.

Men in Black Sequel : Michael Fleming reports that a sequel to Men in Black has taken a big step. Sony has hired Robert Gordon (Lost World, Addicted to Love) to write the script. The original movie was Sony's top grossing movie of all time with $587.7 million in worldwide grosses. Director Barry Sonnenfeld and stars Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones do not have sequel deals. The shooting may begin after Barry Sonnenfeld and Will Smith finisg Muhammad Ali Story.

Hardball : The movie was set out at Paramaunt for director Brian Robbins and produced by Mike Tollin. It is about an inner-city little league baseball team in Chicago's gang-plagued Cabrini-Green housing project. Now, Steven Spielberg read the script and he's interested in the movie. They are thinking to get a big actor and for the time it's Jim Carrey. It is not clear Spielberg will direct it or not if Carrey signs. No other informaiton is yet revealed.

Helen Hunt&Hank Azaria : It is reported that Helen Hunt and Hank Azaria wed over the weekend. The two have been engaged since October 1997.
