OK, here we go.
Download the latest 0.1.2.0 version of mediaportal here.
Install it using the default options.
Now, the first time you run mediaportal you will get a configuration wizard. I will just guide you through the TV configuration part.
Page 1 is just an intro. On page 2, select the following settings...
Page 3 is 'capture card settings'. Click 'add' and in the 'TV Capture card' drop-down box, select Medion BDA digital capture. Then click 'Autotune'. (Ignore the other tabs like 'EPG-grabber, Audio mapping etc on this page)
This should find all the availabe channels.
Let's move onto page 4 of the TV configuration wizard.
Here you should see all the channels MP has found. You can use the 'delete' button to get rid of the rubbish topupTV scrambled channels etc. Also you can select a channel and use the 'up' and 'down' buttons to sort the channel list the way you want it.
You can do some fancy stuff with the 'Map channels' and 'Groups' tabs, but we'll leave that for another day.
Let's move onto page 5.
This is pretty self explanatory.
Page 6 of the TV config wizard is just an outro.
