Recap: Lucky and Liz spent a romantic evening (and early morning) together in Paris before they go back to Port-Charles.

They heard the exclamation before the door swung open wide. Luke, Laura and Lulu were at the other side of the door, and immediately enveloped them in a group hug. Lucky and Liz were forced to drop the luggage in their hands, and returned the fierce embrace from the Spencers.

Laura: Oh, my god! How I've missed you both!!
Lulu: Me too! It's been so lonely without you!
Luke: Boy, am I glad you guys came back in one piece! These two were about to send me around the globe looking for you! I told you they were gonna be all right! Sweetie! This cowboy can take care of himself, and Elizabeth here is nothing if not self sufficient!

Laura hugged Lucky and Liz tighter.

Laura: Oh, that doesn't make me worry any less! You should know that by now, Luke Spencer!
Lucky: Mom, we are all right. Really, see for yourself if you can stop crushing our ribs for a second!

Lucky grinned as Laura laughed and loosened her grip. She stepped back and looked at Lucky and Liz. They came back in one piece, indeed. She thought. Lucky looked like he had the whole world in his hand, grinning from ear to ear with Liz's hand in his. Liz had the most radiant smile on her face, nothing like the grim face she had when she left for London. Laura smiled brilliantly herself.

Laura: Well, it's nice to see that wonderful smiles on your faces. May I assume that all is well now?

Liz and Lucky exchanged a smile.

Liz: Everything couldn't be better, Laura.
Lucky: Oh, everything is definitely well, Mom.

Before Laura could hug them again, Lulu pulled on Liz's hand.

Lulu: Come, Elizabeth! Please! I haven't had anyone except for Nikolas to my tea party for weeks!

Liz laughed, picked Lulu up and went inside with Laura. Lucky and Luke were both smiling after them. Luke was leaning against the door with arms crossed in front of him.

Luke: So, cowboy, I guess the Spencer charm's still got the winning edge, huh?
Lucky: Actually, I think you've got that backwards this time, dad. The Webber women are the ones with the irresistible charm in this case.

Luke chuckled without looking at Lucky, and eyed the luggage on the floor.

Luke: I suppose you'll want some help with those?
Lucky: (grinning) Thanks, dad.

They both bent down to pick up the luggage. Luke turned to Lucky, and smiled.

Luke: Welcome home, son.

Lucky flashed a knowing smile.

Lucky: Thanks, dad.

Lucky washed his hands, cleaned up as much as he could, and let Jason know he was leaving.

Jason: Thanks, Lucky. See you tomorrow.
Lucky: Yeah, same time, same station.
Jason: Oh, and Lucky?
Lucky: Yeah?
Jason: Thanks for getting back so soon.
Lucky: No problem. See you.

Lucky whistled all the way home. He was looking forward to spending the evening with Liz. With school starting soon, there won't be many more nights when they could just enjoy each other's company without worrying about getting homework and study done first.
Liz was reading in the living room, the radio was on, and she didn't seemed to notice the sound of the door open. Lucky grinned, walked behind Liz, his hands didn't quite reach around to cover Liz's eyes.

Liz: Hi, Lucky.

Lucky dropped his hands, jumped over the back of the couch and sat down beside Liz.
Lucky: I guess my dad was right about all women had eyes on the back of their heads.

Liz grinned mischievously.

Liz: Comes in handy when you have a boyfriend who likes to surprise you from behind.
Lucky: Well, at least once in a while pretend you didn't know, OK?

Liz laughed lightly, leaned over, wrapped her arms around Lucky's neck, planted a kiss on him. Lucky pulled her closer, and finished what she started with a smoldering kiss, smoothing his lips tantalizingly across hers, over and over, his tongue probing into her mouth, stroking and caressing, leaving her breathless.

Liz: I missed you, too.

Liz curled up against Lucky, and giggled all of a sudden.

Lucky: What?
Liz: Oh, I was just thinking that it was a good thing that your parents aren't home.
Lucky:(laughing) You mean to see the kiss? Elizabeth, I've caught my parents kissing like that more times than I want to remember.
Liz: That's different.....(smiling) It's so amazing that they are still crazy about each other after all these years and all that turmoil.
Lucky: Yeah, they are wild about each other. They are the strongest couple I've ever known. It's like nothing can separate them. Not permanently, anyway.

Liz tilted her face up, staring into Lucky's eyes.

Liz: You think we'll still be crazy about each other in 20 years?

Lucky grinned down at Liz.

Lucky: Why, Miss Webber, are you admitting that you are crazy about me?

Liz chuckled, and rammed her fist lightly into Lucky's chest.

Liz: As if you didn't know that already!

Lucky gripped the hand Liz was resting on his chest, drew her up onto his lap.

Lucky: Oh, I do know. The question is do YOU have any idea how crazy I am about you.

Lucky eased Liz off his lap just long enough to flip his body up and over, then covered Liz's with it. Liz's eyes sparkled.

Liz: I think I have an idea...but, it never hurts for you to refresh my memory.....

Lucky grinned, his mouth slanted over hers with fierce tenderness, fitting and shaping the contours of her soft mouth to his own, his fingers caressed her face, stroking her beautiful chestnut brown hair. His tongue traced her full lips, slipped in and tangled with hers. Liz moaned lightly as her arms went around Lucky's nape, pulling his body completely into hers, feeling every taut muscle in his body pressing against her. The shockingly wild, indescribably sweet sensation sent tremor into both of them. Liz felt the thundering of Lucky's heartbeat against her own. Lucky's hand slipped down along the side of Liz's body, and up again until they covered her breast tentatively and possessively.
And the door bell rang.
Lucky lifted his head up, his eyes squeezed into dangerous thin lines, looking over to the door.

Lucky: Whoever it is, he doesn't have very good timing, does he?

Liz sat up a little, her face flushed beautifully.

Liz: Um.... at least it's not your parents walking in.........

Lucky chuckled, jumped up and went to open the door.

Lucky: Um......Miss Ardanowski?
Venus: Call me V, Please.
Lucky: Um, Miss... V, what can I help you with?

V smiled at Lucky as Liz walked toward the door.

Liz: Hi, Officer...um, I mean, Miss V.
Venus: Hi, Elizabeth, just V, none of that Miss stuff, please. It's nice to see you! How are you doing?
Liz: I'm very well, thanks.

V had been very helpful while Liz was visiting the police station after Tony had been arrested after confessing to Tammy. Liz knew that V left the police force right after that, and she hadn't seen her much after that other than at the concerts L&B put on. She did know that V had been working for L&B, at first for Ned, then for Jax after he bought the company from Ned.
V stepped inside as Lucky closed the door.
Liz: So, V, what brought you here?
V: OK, um, it's business actually, I need a favor.
Liz: What kind of a favor?
V: See, Jax had this idea that we should discover someone younger, you know, like those Hanson boys? He thought it might be a good idea to give the local high-school kids a try. Since I really don't know that many high-school students other than Emily, and she's no help now that she's just being tutored because of the whole modeling thing......I thought I'd come and ask you guys to point me in the right direction. You know? Do you know any kids in school that might be interested in coming in and trying out? We didn't want to do a public audition because it'll take the mystery out of it if everyone knew who we discovered..........

V was talking as fast as her usual self when she was excited. Lucky and Liz were stunned for a moment before they understood what she was saying. Liz's face brightened when understanding dawned on her, she grabbed Lucky's hand, almost jumping.

Liz: Oh, my god! Lucky! Here is your chance!
