My Review of The One video!
I just can't say enough about this video! It is way too awesome for words! Since I didn't get to see a show from the Millennium Tour, I was glad to at least see some footage. This video brought me to tears. The song is so beautiful, and the video just shows how wonderful they all are. My favorite part is when Nick is doing sit-ups/crunches. YEAH BABY!! LOL! This video you can watch over and over again, and never get sick of it! Congrats to the Boys for making such a wonderful video!
My Review of the BSB's Grammys 2000 performance!
I don't know about you, but I LOVE it when the BSB sings a capella! It always makes me swoon! And when the BSB came out singing "How Deep is your Love?" I almost melted, they sounded SO good! Then they did their cute little walk to the beat over to the main stage and sang "Papa was a Rolling Stone" which was short, but sweet. Then they went into their Boyz II Men tribute, singing "I'll make love to you." The first time I watched this I was laughing so hard because they were all SO into it. But afterwards I gained my composure, and watched it again. They sounded really good! Then they went into "Show Me the Meaning" and of course that was awesome! Later in the show, they sang with Elton John. That was really good too, except you really couldn't hear them, but that's OK. =)
A Review of the book by Marisa Jackson's book Loving AJ
By Kat (Thanks again!)
At first I was hesitant about buying the book because all my friends were telling me that I'd be betraying the BSBs if I did, since it was a book written by an ex. Also, I kept seeing banners at other sites, but low and behold, I ended up buying it. It costed about $7.64 or something, less expensive than Sam's book I read the whole thing in about 10 minutes. (boy I read fast) No, it was actually because the book was short and had BIG letters. It contained a lot of nice pictures of AJ and some facts that I never knew before I'd have to say that the book was very good and was worth my money.
A Review of the BSB's new video
"Show me the meaning of being lonely"
Sent in by Nickallennium reader StarLight1231
Show me the meaning of being lonely is a video that is very personal to the Backstreet Boys. Each member has their own scene in the video that has deeply effected them. Some scenes showed the loss of of a family member and some showed fear. Each skit shows or descries an event that has changed one or more members and brought upon the feeling of loneliness. This video is one of the best ones so far maybe because you realize that everyone has their share of of sorrow or maybe because you can relate to one of the experiences Nick, Brian, AJ, Kevin, or Howie has gone through. Please show the Boys that you care and vote for them on TRL

My Review of the SMTMOBL video
A brief overview of the plot~
When the video started, it made me really sad! It was all to realistic seeing Brian in a hospital bed. But I knew that it was part of the whole theme of the video; loss and loneliness. Next, the camera focused on AJ, sitting on a bus, crying over what looks to be a picture of his lost love. The girl in the picture shows up quite frequently throughout the video, making contact with all of the boys. Next, Kevin is shown watching a home movie about a father and son. He sings his verse and then the camera moves to Nick walking down the street. He saves the girl from getting hit by the bus that AJ's riding. The bus stops on Denniz Street, and AJ gets off. The video ends with the Boys all coming together and walking of the dirty, smog filled street and into a type of paradise.
My interpretation~
Let's start with Brian. His scene obviously depicts the traumas of his heart surgery. I looked closely at Kevin next. My interpretation of Kevin's scene is that the home movie is a REAL home video of Kevin and his father, who, if you didn't know, has passed away. AJ's scene wasn't as easy to decipher. I think that the girl in the picture is AJ's old crush who died in a car accident a long time ago. When AJ gets off the bus, the street he is stops on is Denniz Street, which is obviously a reference to Denniz Pop who passed away a year or so ago. Howie's scene was not very allusive to any kind of loneliness, at least not at first. The recent Rolling Stone article explained that his scene was an allusion to the death of his sister who passed away recently. Nick's scene I didn't understand. It didn't seem to stand for anything, which is almost good. That means that he hasn't (yet) experienced a very traumatic event in his life. So that's my interpretation! Keep voting for SMTMBL on TRL! And always remember, KTBSPA!
My Review of
What you wanna know: Backstreet Boys secrets only a Girlfriend can tell
by Samantha Stonebraker
I took me a while to decide if I wanted to purchase this book. Lot's of websites had banners on them saying "Don't buy the book!" I was worried that if I did buy it, then it'd be like I was contributing to the exploitation of the Boys. However, in the end, my curiosity won out, and I decided to get it. Geeze, talk about expensive! It was $10.67 cents! At that point I was like, It better be worth it!
That same night I started reading it. The set up of it is nice. It's 102 pages, and it has some color photos in the middle of Brian and Samantha, and even a few of Brian and the guys. She set it up so that it was like she was answering some questions from fans, such as; Is Brian a good kisser? How did you and Brian meet? What was the sweetest thing Brian did for you? And even, Are the Backstreet Boys virgins? She also included fun facts on almost every page. The best thing about this book is that she isn't exploiting the BSB! So, don't feel guilty if you decide you have to buy it!
