The Taking of Beverly Hills
Columbia Pictures * 1991

Billionaire Robert Masterson whose specialty is hostile takeovers, tries to woo a wealthy insurance tycoon's daughter, Laura Sage (Harley), a top Hollywood theatrical agent whose budding relationship with football star Boomer Hayes (Ken Wahl) is interrupted by the robbery of the century. A fake toxic spill forces an evacuation of the city and seals off LA to the rest of the world. (Hey! It's Hollywood--come on!) With his henchman Masterson poses as a toxic clean up crew and empties the wealthy homes of all those expensive trinkets....even though he's already a billionaire....hey, it's Hollywood--come on!

 With Robert Davi

    With Ken Wahl

Of her character, Harley said: "Laura's from old money and, like her father, she isn't impressed with Mr. Masterson and his hostile takeovers. She also doesn't like Boomer at first and what he represents. She's intellectually motivated and very involved in charity work while she sees Boomer as a jock king with no responsibilities or cares."

Of Harley, Director Sidney Furie said: "Harley is a fine actress. Somewhere between Signourney Weaver and Kathleen Turner, and her involvement in the story is a good contrast to the run-and-gun adventures of Boomer and Kelvin."

Trivia: Harley and Ken Wahl would team up later for the comedy, "The Favor."
