Harley plays an Ann Rice type novelist, Cassandra Taylor, who sails on the boat we all loved in the late '70s and early '80s, to read to the passengers from a new novel she has penned about vampires and "eternal love."

An assistant editor (Patrick Cassidy) from her publishing house comes aboard, but Cassandra doesn't know who he is when she falls for this mystery man, who takes on the life of one of her vampire characters.
