Based on the
true story of a highly volatile man, Paul Hedgstrom (John Ritter),
who abused his wife, Judy (Harley), for nearly 17 years. Unhappy
with his life he leaves his family and divorces his wife. It
isn't until he nearly beats his girlfriend to death, and under
the threat of criminal prosecution, that Paul seeks group therapy. In
the end he learns to control his anger, and reconciles with his
wife and two of his three children. He and his wife are
now responsible for opening several of these anger management
groups for men who abuse women, in the US and Europe. |
