Victor buonoVictor Buono was born in San Diego, California on February 3, 1938. He began his work as an actor in the 1956 play Volpone at the San Diego Old Globe Theater. He undertook schooling at Villanova, and soon after began to get spots in detective shows on television. His first movie role was in the 1962 film What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? where he played an underemployed drunk musician named Edwin Flagg. He won an Oscar for that role and that's really were his career as an actor began. In Batman he played King Tut and appeared in only a few episodes. His films include Sleep With the Devil (1966), The Silencers (1966), The Mad Butcher (1971), and The Wrath of God (1972). Due to weight problems his career was cut short when he died on January 1, 1982.
