This page is dedicated to the now sadly disbanded Veruca Salt. Veruca Salt were an amazing band with much talent and a promising future. The group split when songwriter Nina Rachel Gordon left earlier this year to pursue her own interests, including a duet with James Iha of the Smashing Pumpkins for his solo album. Veruca Salt were loud and heavy, but beautifully balanced with brilliant melodies and harmonies. They will be greatly missed.

* Nina's elder brother, Jim Shapiro, used to play drums for the band before Stacy Jones.
