During high school, I began to be sympathetic to prime numbers. That sympathy remains, though muted. Furthest You've Ever Thrown Anything: I usually do not have a measuring device when I throw. I don't have a very good arm. However, one day in the 1970s, I was strolling on the beach at Lake Michigan--in Michigan--with zim. It was late summer, c ol, at sunset. We encountered a large, fairly fresh dead fish. It was a beautiful specimen. For some reason, a kind of primordial urge led us to pick up stones and begin to throw them at the dead fish. We threw those stones very, very hard. Anyway, I hink that had we aimed for the open lake, those stones that I threw on that day would have been among the furthest objects that I have ever thrown. | Comments: 1. Don't step on nails. 2.
