| WHY? is this new hitseries chosen to be a part of my holmesian pages? Simply because it's A MODERN HOLMES STORY. There's many Sherlock Holmes stories, where he tracks missing persons. Without a Trace continues this form. (The episode "Little, Big Man" was a modern version of the Sherlock Holmes classic "Splitlipped man"!) It is, no doubt, a pure detective series, even though these FBI employees got their wages from the government instead of a private employers.
