Adorers of the Holy Face of Jesus
IT IS A FORM OF CONSECRATED LIFE THAT WILL ENABLE YOU TO LIVE YOUR BAPTISM.
THE ADORERS OF THE HOLY FACE OF JESUS:
• An association of lay people belonging to the Catholic Church.
• They are single, married, divorced, and are from all walks of life, Man and Woman.
• They live in the world as the leaven in the dough.
• They work in various milieu.
• Helped and guided by a Rule and team life..
• They follow the example of sister Thérèse of the Infant Jesus and of the Holy Face.
LIFE OF REPARATION
The more they contemplate the mystery of Redemption the more the Adorers want to be united to the suffering Christ. They offer their lives for the salvation of souls and the sanctification of priests, following the example of the Venerable Leon Papin Dupont and sister Mary of Saint-Peter.
THEY PROFESS THE "EVANGELICAL ADVICE"
To enable them to reach their goal of sanctity, the Adorers after a time of formation (novitiate), will commit themselves by making the promises of chastity, obedience and poverty according to their state of life.
THE CHARISMA OF THE ADORERS
By their prayers and their work within the world in the light of the Incarnation, nourished by the redemptive love of Christ they help building a new society centered on the PERSON and ITS TRUE IMAGE.
ADORERS
Every day, the Adorers, set aside time for contemplative prayer. They seek the Face of God manifested through and in Jesus and left for us to see in the Holy Shroud of Turin.
