One day out west
Have a look at the scene when Vin and the boys are looking down on the area where the boxing match is taking place. Buck supposedly stayed in town to be with a woman, but isn't that him I see sitting behind Chris and hidden behind Vin? It certainly looks like his hat. Count up the number of peacekeepers for yourselves! Ezra is back with the horses, but there are five others with Vin at the cliff edge. That makes Seven and there should only be six!
The Trial
Ezra's jacket does an amazing bit of color changing at the very beginning of this episode. When the scene is being set at the start, he is wearing a beautiful green jacket. He leaves town with the rest of his friends to go to Eagle Bend to save Nathan's father from being hung. Then after the opening credits have rolled, we see Ezra riding away from us at speed and he is wearing a claret jacket. The group comes to a halt just outside Eagle Bend within seconds and he is back to wearing green. How did he do that?
Safecracker and Nemesis
The same group of men can be seen in exactly same position in both these episodes. Surely the same piece of film wasn't used? ;D
Chris and Vin are entering Purgatory in search of Buck and Mrs. Greer in Safecracker. Their arrival is watched by the men, one wearing a tall hat and with long hair, another has bullet belts slung round his body.
The same men are there when the whole group of peacekeepers enters Purgatory when they are looking for the man who killed Chris's family.
The Collector
At the very end when Vin takes Nettie home, his coat seems to develop a life of its own. When he helps her out of the buckboard, the cape part over his left shoulder is turned up like the wind has blown it over. When we next see him after Nettie asks him to talk about his Ma, it is back in its proper position. The camera cuts to Nettie and when it goes back to Vin again the cape has turned up again. Is it possessed?
Inmate 78
When Ezra is getting the Deputy drunk, he has a spitoon on his right where he tips his own drink. However, the first time I see him discard his drink, he tips it out on his left side. Did our Ezra make a mistake? Or did they think no one would notice? In the same episode, when Quince first confronts the boys in his mother's boarding house, it seems to me that no one picks up Ezra's hat when they leave. Ezra certannly doesn't, but when you next see the empty table it has gone.
New Law
Chris's hair seems to keep changing color throughout this episode. Sometimes it's blond, and then sometimes it seems to be a chocolate/ginger/brown color. Does he carry a bottle of dye with him? I can't think it is the light.
Wagon Train
Now, in episode two when the boys are looking down at Dickie before the final showdown by the river. Buck and Ezra are firing off the dynamite with the catapult. The rest of the boys take off down the hill. Supposedly only five of them go because in the next scene you see Buck and Ezra still firing off dynamite and then setting off down the hill on their own. HOWEVER, if you look very closely when Chris and the others set off - find Vin coming down on the right of screen and you will see Buck's white horse behind, and then in the dust the left, Ezra on his horse! They get to come down twice!
