| A cat nail clipper is recommended. Human clippers do not work as well and can cause the nail to split. Do not clip passed the vein or your cat will bleed. | ||||||||||||||||

| Note: Clipping claws makes them blunt and will prevent scratches.  Trim them about once a month or when you see a point start to form. Clipping is optional! Cats do not have to have their nails clipped, they shed them on their own. If scratches are a concern then it is recommended.  |
